FAQ

Non-O or Non-O-A for retirement?

Non-O: 90 days, then you extend for a year inside Thailand. Non-O-A: you arrive with a one-year visa straight away, but you need health insurance, a criminal record certificate and a medical certificate. We’ll help you choose.

Can I get the 10-year O-X visa?

Not with a Latvian passport. The O-X is open only to a list of nationalities that does not include Latvia.

Do my documents need translating?

Latvian documents such as marriage or birth certificates usually need an English translation and sometimes legalisation (apostille). We’ll tell you exactly what applies to you.

Not sure which visa fits you?
